Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park: Sitting on a former site for condo development, this massive state park was rescued to preserve the beautiful wildlife and abundant West Indian tropical hardwood hammock population. There are over 80 species of wildlife and plenty of opportunities for self-guided hikes. Ranger-guided tours are available by appointment.
